One Membership for Safer Programs and Stronger Teams
Organizations that run travel programs, experiential education, camps, and adventure trips need risk management, medical, and mental health support teams that work together, efficiently and effectively.
A Cornerstone membership provides all three through a single ongoing partnership. We are the only organization built to work alongside your team throughout the year.
Why an Ongoing Partnership Works
Effective support begins before an incident occurs.
As a member, you work with advisors who learn your programs, people, culture, and operating environments. That shared context allows us to provide guidance your team can realistically use during planning, staff training, active program delivery, incident response, and post-program review.
Instead of starting from scratch each time a question arises, you have trusted experts who understand your organization and stand alongside your team throughout the year.

How Membership Works
Membership tiers are designed around the amount and type of support an organization needs.
Whether you are a seasonal camp, a small outfitter, or a multi-program travel organization, you can choose a level of support that reflects the complexity of your operations. Every membership tier includes access to Cornerstone's integrated expertise, resource library, educational webinars, and member community. Tiers differ in advisor hours, incident response access, and included strategic services.
Annual memberships range from $7,500 for Foundational members to $28,500 for Executive members. Organizations in their first 24 months of operation can join through the new Emerging tier at $4,750.
What Members Say
The tools created by Cornerstone, including document review, crisis management system training, and webinars, have been invaluable to us as a rapidly growing company.
The Team Behind Cornerstone
Cornerstone's integrated team includes physicians, mental health professionals, and risk management practitioners with more than 150 years of cumulative experience specific to the travel, experiential, adventure, and camp industries.
We understand the realities of remote locations, seasonal teams, changing operating environments, limited local resources, and decisions that must be made quickly. Our guidance is grounded in what leaders and staff can realistically do – not simply what looks good on paper.
-
Membership is an ongoing relationship embedding risk management, medical, and mental health services. It also includes access to a full library of resources and webinar recordings, emergency support, community engagement opportunities, and discounts on industry-related products and services. Consulting is project-based work scoped to a specific need, with no membership required. Resources and services are limited to the scope of the project.
-
No. We work alongside them. Insurance transfers financial risk after something happens, and counsel addresses legal exposure. Our work is focused on strengthening team capabilities, reducing the likelihood and severity of incidents, and responding well when events occur.
-
Yes. Gaining access to our 24/7 call center connects members with our integrated on-call team for urgent medical, mental health or risk management situations outside business hours. When members call, they reach a person rather than a ticketing system. It is included at the Comprehensive and Executive membership tiers and available as an add-on at the Foundational and Advanced tiers.
-
No. We are not a replacement for calling emergency services (such as 9-1-1 in the U.S), nor do we create any type of patient-to-doctor/therapist relationship with participants or staff. Our medical and mental health work is triage and support. We help guide leadership teams through challenging or confusing situations, help to determine whether a participant can remain on a program, and act as a thought-partner when monitoring symptoms over time.

International SOS and On Call International are travel assistance providers. Depending on the services purchased, they may connect an individual with medical or mental health care, monitor a case, and coordinate services such as telehealth, payment assistance, transportation, evacuation, or repatriation. The travel assistance provider performs a specific role within a larger response.
Cornerstone serves a different but complementary role. During a crisis, we are an active responder within the member's overall crisis response team. We assist the member's Incident Command function in managing the overarching response, including organizational decision-making, communications, human-centered support, stakeholder coordination, and effects on participants, staff, families, and program operations.
Most importantly, we spend most of our time strengthening an organization before an event occurs, focusing on prevention and preparedness based on decades of experience.
Since Cornerstone does not diagnose or treat participants, arrange evacuations, or replace local care, many of our members choose to use both – the travel assistance provider to support the individual and coordinate care, and Cornerstone to strengthen operations, develop response teams, and help manage the overall event.
-
Absolutely. Many members arrive with solid documentation and established protocols that were developed internally. Cornerstone provides a second set of eyes to update protocols while also bringing in outside perspectives and expertise from the broader industry. Since we work in varied segments of the travel and experiential industry, we have a unique vantage point bringing learning from one segment to another for continuous improvement.

Annual memberships range from $7,500 to $29,000, and organizations in their first 24 months can join through the Emerging tier at $4,750. Full pricing and tier inclusions are listed on the membership tiers page.
-
Onboarding begins with a personalized conversation about your programs, priorities, team, and immediate needs. We then introduce key staff to Cornerstone's advisory team, member resources, and call center activation procedures when included. Members can begin receiving support immediately after their membership is active.
