Frequently Asked Questions

  • Organizations join Cornerstone Safety Group by purchasing one of three membership tiers (Foundational, Advanced or Comprehensive). In doing so, members gain immediate access to our resource library, educational content, bi-weekly networking calls, customized consultation services and even on-call support (on-call services are offered within the Advanced and Comprehensive tiers only).

  • Yes! Cornerstone hosts free bi-weekly networking calls to bring a community of like-minded organizations together to talk about and problem-solve current events, industry challenges, and organizational needs. For years, this community has provided a safe space to grow, share and learn from each other, so head over to our Events page and mark your calendar to take advantage of this unique opportunity.

To create this unique experience, all attendees must remain professional, courteous and respectful to each other at all times. Bringing a sense of humility and vulnerability is encouraged too as this helps improve the depth of discussions. Stop by to see what makes the Cornerstone community so valuable; you won't be disappointed.

  • Head over to the Events page to see and register for our upcoming events! For Advanced and Comprehensive members, all events (member-only and educational) are included with membership. Foundational and prospective members are welcome to join our educational events and access essential industry insights. Some events for non-members will require a fee, payable through our registration page.

  • Absolutely! We firmly believe that protecting human life and creating safe programs for all participants and staff is not intellectual property, but rather, the collective “duty” of all organizations that share this space. Therefore, Cornerstone’s services focus on creating a level playing field centered on the needs of organizations to protect their clients and their business. With this cornerstone in place, organizations can then focus on creating competitive advantage through participant experiences, cultural engagements and unique itineraries and NOT preserving human safety.

  • First, well done! Creating a risk management structure is vitally important to any organization responsible for protecting human lives. Oftentimes, however, these systems can become outdated or are inadequate. Even worse, sometimes those responsible for overseeing or implementing these systems may leave your organization resulting in a loss of intellectual knowledge and expertise within your program delivery. A membership with Cornerstone prevents these single points of failure and connects you with a community of industry professionals that provide a support network to help tackle challenges and carry your business forward.

  • You sure can. We want to make payments as painless as possible, so members can decide to pay their annual membership upfront with a 5% discount or make regularly scheduled payments. If quarterly payments are not received by their due date, member accounts will unfortunately be suspended until payment is returned to good standing.

  • Maybe. Our risk management, medical and mental health services are closely aligned, so we believe that separating these out individually can create potential gaps and unforeseen business exposures depending on an organization’s situation. If, however, an organization has been a prior member of Cornerstone Safety Group or worked with any of our founders previously, then we’re open to learning about your needs and making a customized proposal.

Member organizations CAN add additional hours from our individual founders for on-call support, staff training, safety audits, crisis response simulations and many other services as needed. Click below to book a call or email info@cornerstonesafetygroup.org to discuss your situation and needs.
